medcom.id, Jakarta: The trend of hijab in Indonesia is changing every year. Previously, layered hijab was popular. currently the trend is shifting to simple and elegant hijab.
The style imitates hijab worn by Turkish women, or Turkish style, mentioned renowned designer Dian Pelangi. Turkish style is also Dian's inspiration for her new collection.
"The colourful style has been explored in my previous designs. Now, it is neutral colours, such as black and white," stated Dian when met in Jakarta recently.
Dian who is scheduled to participate in the London Fashion Week 2016, said neutral colours in her designs are intended to give universal and neutral impression.
Turkish style hijab has simple form with cone-shaped funnel on the forehead side. You can also use a square veil if you want to apply the style on your daily activities.
