Success Story: Noah's US Tour Concerts

Anindya Legia Putri • 25 October 2015 23:53
medcom.id, Jakarta: Indonesian band NOAH shared its travel stories after conducting the NOAH US TOUR 2015, which was conducted for two weeks. Three cities in the United States: New York, Los Angeles and Washington DC have become the band's choice for this tour.

"We are pleased to finally meet and sing along with NOAH Friends (Sahabat NOAH) in the US. It is an interesting experience for us, mentioned Ariel when met in Hard Rock Cafe, Jakarta, October 24, 2015.

According to Uki, NOAH's performance in the States is one of the most impressive experience, as they performed genuinely. "Me personally think that our experience in performing there is genuine. So we think more to the music, not the technical part. And with the available sound quality. As when in DC, we played acoustic, as there was no time to bring lots of equipments. But luckily we were able to maximize it," elaborated Uki.

Luckily NOAH was accepted well by Sahabat  NOAH in the US. "When we play there, it is true what Ariel said, that music is universal, they appreciate it so much. Our performance there was very respected and they were able to enjoy our music," mentioned David.

The audience watching the performance of Ariel and his friends came from various cities. Not only from Washington DC, Maryland and Virginia, there are many coming from out of town, such as Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, New Jersey and New York.

NOAH US TOUR 2015 started from the Fox Teather, Pomona, Los Angeles on October 3. Next was in Silver Spring, Maryland, Washington DC. Meanwhile, Santos Party House in New York was their last concert venue, held on October 9.

However, after successfully holding the US tour, Ariel with four other personnel, Uki (guitar), Lukman (guitar) and David (keyboard) did not want to be mentioned as a band which has 'gone international'.

"If it is said to be go international, I am still reluctant. What we do now is heading that way (go international). But we're not yet there. So we do not want to go first with that title," mentioned Ariel.
