medcom.id, Jakarta: Professional Kelly Tandiono again acts in a movie, as she was given a challenging role in a movie directed by Fajar Nugros, 'Gangster'.
Kelly plays the role of a gangster, where in the official trailer, she will fight and act against Dian Sastrowardoyo.
"As a gangster, the practice rehearsal was not too difficult, only a week, but extremely exhausting. And this is my first time playing with Dian. She is small but feisty," mentioned Kelly when met at Locanda Food Voyager, Jakarta, Wednesday (12/8/2015).
Taking the role as a gangster, tightly related with physical violence, the Singaporean born woman of October 28, 1986, needed to practice martial arts. With the martial arts she studied during high school, Kelly did not find much trouble.
"Since high school, I have learned Karate. I have also studied Silat, and now it's Muay Thai," Kelly said.
Not only starred by Kelly Tandiono and Dian Sastrowardoyo, the movie also features the acts of Hamish Daud, Yayan Ruhian, Agus Kuncoro, Dwi Sasono, Lukman Sardi, and Nina Kozok.
Gangster is to be aired in Indonesian theaters on August 27, 2015.
