Antara • 13 March 2020 21:08
Semarang: A Bahama-flagged cruise liner MV Colombus, carrying onboard 1,044 tourists, called at the Tanjung Emas Port in the Central Java provincial capital of Semarang on Friday, March 13, 2020.

The port authorities allowed the cruise liner to dock at the port after its health officers conducted health check-ups on its passengers for nearly four hours and established that none had contracted the coronavirus (COVID-19) infection.

MV Colombus had set sail from Australia, carrying tourists from different countries.

The cruise liner had earlier called at Bali and Lombok. However, it was refused to dock at Surabaya Port in East Java. (Antara)
