Jakarta: The Ministry of Tourism believes that Solo International Performing Art (SIPA) 2019 will surprise its vistors.
Held in Surakarta from September 5-7, the event will be enlivened with the performance from popular K-Pop group Rion Five and Indonesian artist Elizabeth Sudira.
According to Esthy Reko Astuty, the Chairperson of the Ministry of Tourism's Calendar of Event Implementation Team, SIPA 2019 is a charm for all art lovers.
"Solo International Performing Art has entered its 11th year and has been included in the Calendar of Events of the Ministry of Tourism," the Tourism Ministry's website quoted her as saying.
SIPA is always able to attract the attention of art lovers with the involvement of many international artists," the official was quoted as saying.
Held on Fort Vastenburg, which are full of history and has become a landmark destination of Surakarta, SIPA 2019 also presents not only local performance from Malaydansstudio (Kampar, Riau), Abib Igal Dance Project (Palangkaraya, Central Kalimantan), and Kunokini (Jakarta), but also international performance from Chun Seul Dance Company (Korea), Chinese Youth Goodwill Association (Taiwan), Aue Dance Co (New Zealand), Yamato Dance Unit (Japan), Pooja Mani of the Arts and the Aesthetics Foundation and Pooja Bhatnagar of Bali (India), and many more.
