Jakarta: Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno stressed that his ministry will optimize the use of PeduliLindungi application.
The application is used to screen visitors at tourist attractions.
"It is one of our attempts in recovering and reopening tourist attractions later," said Sandiaga in a written statement on Friday.
"We will use this application so it will be standardized," said Sandiaga.
The ministry will coordinate with the Ministry of Health, the Coordinating Ministry for Maritime Affairs and Investment, the Ministry of Communication and Informatics, and business associations.
Sandiaga said the application is also used to screen employees in offices during PPKM and also to access malls.(Translator: Natasha Celia)
