Jakarta: In November 2022, the number of international tourist arrivals to Indonesia was 657.27 thousand, dramatically increasing by 336.50 percent compared with November 2021, according to the Central Statistics Agency (BPS).
In the meantime, international traveler arrivals in November 2022 decreased by 3.19 percent compared with the previous month.
"From January to November 2022, the number of international visitor arrivals to Indonesia was 4.58 million, which increased by 228.30 percent over the same period in 2021," the BPS said in a media release on Monday.
The room occupancy rate of classified hotels in November 2022 was 54.41 percent, an increase of 6.58 percentage points from November 2021.
Meanwhile, the room occupancy rate in November 2022 increased by 2.10 percentage points compared with October 2022.
The average length of stay of foreigners and Indonesian citizens at classified hotels during November 2022 was 1.70 days, which increased by 0.11 points compared with November 2021.
While compared with the previous month, the average length of stay in November 2022 also increased by 0.04 points.
