Malang : Indonesian Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno has encouraged tourism villages to adapt to digital technologies.
The statement was made during his visit to Pujon Kidul Tourism Village in Pujon, Malang, East Java recently.
"The Ministry is ready to facilitate the efforts by providing development programs," said Sandi.
Sandiaga explained that digital technologies could help explore tourism villages’ potentials.
"We want to increase their skills so that they are able to adapt to technologies,” Sandiaga added.
On the other hand, Malang Regent, M Sanusi said Pujon Kidul village can be a role model for the development of a tourism village.
