medcom.id, Jakarta: Many people plan to celebrate Valentine's Day with their couple. Then, what if you currently do not have couple, or in short, single?
In Yogyakarta, single people could spend their Valentine's day by attending Festival Jomblo (Singles Festival).
"The event is open for public and free, including for those with couples," said the festival's committee chair Janet Cynthia to Metrotvnews.com in Yogyakarta, Wednesday (2/10/2016).
The festival would include photo contest where the most creative photo could win a prize.
Cynthia added that the event is intended to make people stay positive and creative. "Being single should not be reason to lose your spirit and waste your creativity. Through the festival, we want to urge single people to continue being creative" she added.
The Singles Festival was held in Kopi Geek, Sleman, Yogyakarta, at 8 PM.
