medcom.id, Jakarta: Traveloka, an online provider of plane tickets and hotel bookings, just released a report for the vacation trends in the end of 2015. They conducted a survey to its five million users within November-December.
The survey showed for local destinations the three most preferred tourist destinations were Yogyakarta, Bandung and Bali. Meanwhile, for international destination, the three most favorite cities were Kuala Lumpur, Singapore and Bangkok.

It also showed that 50 percent of users booked hotel eight days before their holiday. Meanwhile, the other 50 percent booked hotel within a week prior to their vacation.
"It shows that Indonesian tourists are enthusiastic in welcoming the year-end vacation of 2015," mentioned Ferry Unardi, CEO of Traveloka. "The enthusiasm is seen due to many visitors preparing their vacation accommodation very early."
Another trend revealed by the survey is how long Indonesian tourists taking their vacations. From the data acquired by Traveloka, most tourists (45 percent) planned to spend two day vacation. while, 40 percent of them only planned for one day vacation.
