medcom.id, Sleman: Sleman Tourism Agency launched mobile application titled 'Amazing Sleman' to promote tourism in the regency. The application is designed to help visitors.
Sleman Tourism Agency Chief AA Ayu Laksmidewi explained users can access information about various types of tourist attractions in the region. Sleman Regency, administratively part of Yogyakarta Province, has many tourist attractions including the famous Prambanan Temple and Mount Merapi.
"It also provide information about hotels, restaurants, travelling tips and so on," said Ayu in a written statement, Sunday (5/29/2016).
"Amazing Sleman application can be downloaded in Playstore for free," she continued.
Ayu hopes the initiative could boost the number of visitors in the region. "In the end, it will increase the welfare of Sleman residents, especially those who work in the tourism sector," she concluded.
