medcom.id, Jakarta: Peruvian cuisine is the perfect choice for those who love international cuisines. It is a blend of Asian, European and West African cuisines. 
 
In Jakarta, a restaurant named Pavela offers various Peruuvian dishes.
 
Pavela owner, Henry Sanjaya, explained that Peruvian cuisine has similar taste with Indonesian cuisine. Peruvians eat rice, corn, potato, cassaava and vegetables.

"They are similar with Indonesians. They like carbohydrate," Henry told Metrotvnews.com, recently.
 
Here are several popular Peruvian foods:
 
1. Causa de Cangrejo
 
It is comprised of vegetables, fish, meat, mash potato and mayonaise. It is usually served as appetizer.
 
2. Arroz Chaufa
 
It is also known as the Arroz De Chaufa (Chinese Rice) or Peruvian fried rice. It is a blend of Chinse and Peruvian cuisines. 
 
3. Pollo a la Brasa
 
It is a grilled chicken served with rice and salad. It is popular dish in Peruvian household.
