medcom.id, Sabang: Sabang Marine Festival is attended by 20 yachts from various foreign countries. Their presence gives confidence to the local authority in developing Sabang for yachters.
Management Board of Sabang Free Trade and Free Port Zone's (BPKS) deputy chief Irwan Faisal said his agency invites businessmen to develop Lhok Weng Marina in Sabang.
Irwan explained BPKS currently is preparing facilities in the marina dock such as clean water, electricity and refueling station.
“We have developed Marina Lhok Weng Marina for two years. Now we invite businessmen to join," he said, Sabang, Wednesday (4/27/2016).
Yachter from switzerland, Paul von Wiese, said many yachters enjoy Sabang. However, its should be equipped with better facilities.
Sabang Marine Festival 2016 is held on April 26-30. Sabang is the westernmost and northernmost region in Indonesia. it is part of Aceh province.
