medcom.id, Jakarta: Cheap airplane tickets and tour packages lure Indonesian tourists to travel abroad.
Sabre Travel Network Indonesia managing director Denny Fajar Arianto said Indonesian tourists prefer nearby Asian countries to other foreign countries.
"Indonesians prefer Singapore, Malaysia and China," Denny said recently.
"Japan has yet to attract a lot of Indonesians because the cost to go there is expensive," he continued.
In the other side, Sabre also found the number of foreign tourists that travel to Indonesia increases.
"August and October is high season Bali, Nusa Tenggara, Komodo Island and Toraja," he stated.
