How to Tell Good Quality Wagyu Beef

medcom.id, Jakarta: If you want to have delicious steak, then choose wagyu beef. But how to identify good wagyu beef?
 
Chef Chandra Yudasswara explained good wagyu beef from the marbling. "The composition is 60 percent marbling, 40 percent red meat. That is the best. It will melt in your mouth," he said when met in Jakarta, recently.
 
Currently, there are many restaurants offer cheap wagyu steak. However, if the price is below Rp50,000, it may not be real wagyu beef.
 
"Wagyu with only Rp50,000 is impossible. One of kilogram wagyu is around Rp350,000," he stated.
 
Wagyu beef is originated from Japan. However, other countries such as Australia and the United States now also produce the meat.
