medcom.id, Jakarta: The delegation of the European Union (EU) to Indonesia is going to hold European travel and culture fair, Destination Europe. The event is intended to introduce European culture to Indonesian people.
"The event is one of the biggest events held by the European Union in Indonesia. We hope it may become a unique opportunity for Indonesians to know Europe more," said EU Ambassador Vincent Guerend in a press conference, Jakarta, Wednesday, April 6, 2016.
Through Destination Europe, Indonesian people could familiarize themselves with Europe's history, culinary, local traditions and languages.
Destination Europe will be held on April 9 and 10, 2016, at Balai Kartini, Jakarta. There will be cultural performances and introduction to European traditions and lifestyles.
"Through the exhibition, we would like to promote Europe as travel destination with added value. Europe will fulfill the dream of every tourist," said Vincent.
