Jakarta: President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) has issued Presidential Decree of the Republic of Indonesia Number 10 of 2021 on the Task Force for the Acceleration of Dissemination of Law Number 11 of 2020 on Job Creation.
The Presidential Decree, which was signed by the President on May 4, aims to boost dissemination on Job Creation Law massively and well-targeted to the public at home and abroad.
"In order to synergize the substance, strategy, and dissemination activities of Law Number 11 of 2020 on Job Creation carried out by ministries / agencies / authorities / local governments, a Task Force for the Acceleration of Dissemination of Law Number 11 of 2020 on Job Creation is established, hereinafter referred to as the Job Creation Law Task Force," reads Article 1 of the Decree.
Based on the provisions of this regulation, the Job Creation Law Task Force is under the authority and responsible to the President.
“In order to synergize the dissemination of Law Number 11 of 2020 on Job Creation and its implementing regulations, the minister / head of authority / governor / regent / mayor is obliged to support the implementation of the task and authority of the Job Creation Law Task Force,” Article 6 reads.
The Job Creation Law Task Force is chaired by Mahendra Siregar.
In addition, there are three deputy chairpersons, namely Suahasil Nazara, M. Chatib Basri, Raden Pardede, and a secretary, namely Arif Budimanta.
