Jakarta: Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) Erick Thohir has appointed Orias Petrus Moedak to replace Budi Gunadi Sadikin as president director of Mining Industry Indonesia (Mind ID).
Also known as Inalum, the state-owned firm is the country's mining holding company.
Orias recieved the decree from the SOEs Minister this morning. He said that starting today he has officially served as president director of Mind Id.
"Yes, I just received the decree (SK)," said Orias met at the Ministry of SOEs in Jakarta on Monday, November 25, 2019.
He said he would carry out the mandate as well as possible. One of his main tasks is to realize the purchase of a 20 percent stake in PT Vale Indonesia Tbk.
"Yes, carrying out the mandate as well as continuing existing programs," he explained.
The Special Staff of the Minister of SOEs Arya Sinulingga also confirmed Orias as Mind ID president director.
"The President Director is Pak Orias. Commissioner Fajar was replaced. President Commissioner position is still vacant,” said Arya.
