Hong Kong: The Consulate General of the Republic of Indonesia in Hong Kong presented awards to seven business entities which consisted of importers, distributors, institution, and restaurants in Hong Kong at the event of The Consulate Awards 2020 held on Friday.
The awards were presented to honor those who made contribution in the promotion of trade and economy between Indonesia and Hong Kong.
Awardees were determined with meticulous assessment, data support and best consideration over dozens of companies which some were part of Indonesian diaspora in Hong Kong.
The award is a strong recognition of Indonesian Consulate to Hong Kong’s entrepreneurs, companies and Small Medium Enterprises (SMEs) for their contribution to the development of Indonesia’s SMEs.
"Their winning vision, innovation, determination mindset and positive attitude and strive for excellence in delivering business, at the end contribute in strengthening Indonesia – Hong Kong economic and trade partnership," stated Consul General of Indonesia, Ricky Suhendar, in a press release issued on Sunday.
The Consul General also stated that the Indonesian Consulate General along with partners and stakeholders in Hong Kong was always in constant effort to promote exports of Indonesian products abroad, particularly Hong Kong.
The award would hopefully motivate business entities to an extent that through diligence and hard work, success was not just possible, but was proven.
The Consulate Awards 2020 were awarded to Chi Shing (Golden Coconut) Trading Ltd. as Indonesian Diaspora Distributor of the Year; Forever Harvest Co. Ltd. as Indonesian Diaspora Small Medium Enterprise of the Year; Fok Hing (HK) Trading Ltd. as Indonesian Diaspora Retailer of the Year; Sixfifteen Imports-Exports Ltd. as Indonesia Promoter of the Year; Potato Head Hong Kong as Best Rated Indonesian Restaurant; Kampoeng as Indonesian Restaurant with Excellent Service of the Year; and Indonesian Chamber of Commerce (INACHAM) Hong Kong as Indonesia Eminent Partner of the Year.
On the same occasion, the Indonesian Consulate General also presented award of appreciation to Bank Negara Indonesia (BNI) Hong Kong for its support for SMEs and providing capacity buildings for Indonesian community in Hong Kong.
