Jakarta: Ridwan Djamaluddin has been officially appointed as the new Director General of Coal and Mineral at the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources.
Ridwan replaced Bambang Gatot Ariyanto who is entering retirement age. Ridwan previously served as a deputy at the Coordinating Ministry of Maritime and Investement.
"In the midst of the covid-19 pandemic, we want to maximize non-tax revenues and investment," Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Arifin Tasrif said here on Monday.
At the same time, Eko Budi Lelono replaced Rudy Suhendar as the Head of the Geological Agency. Eko previously led the Geology Agency's Geological Survey Center.
In addition, Prahara Yulijanto Nurtjahyo replaced IGN Wiratmaja as the Head of Human Resources Development Agency. Prahara previously worked as an expert staff at the ministry.
"The new Human Resources Development Agency leader is expected to enhance competencies of government employees," the minister said.
