Jakarta: Indonesia Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) today published the investment realization data for the first quarter of 2021 that reached Rp219.7 trillion.
Compared to the same period in 2020, the investment realization in Indonesia increased by 4.3% last quarter.
"The Government has ordered the BKPM to attract Rp900 trillion worth of projects," said BKPM chairman Bahlil Lahadalia during a virtual press conference here on Monday morning.
"It is not an easy job but we have to find a way," he stated.
According to Bahlil, from January until March 2021, domestic direct investment (DDI) reached Rp108 trillion.
Meanwhile, within the same period, foreign direct investment (FDI) stood at Rp111.7 trillion.
