Jakarta: Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan has said that the government will announce the Board of Directors of Indonesia Investment Authority (LPI) in the near future.
"The Board of Directors will be announced this week or next week," said the coordinating minister here on Wednesday.
Last month, President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) inaugurated 5 members of the Board of Supervisors of the sovereign welth fund.
As the representatives of the government, Finance Minister Sri Mulyani Indrawati was appointed as the chairman of the Board, while State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs) Erick Thohir was picked as one of the members of the board.
Meanwhile, the remaining 3 members are independent supervisor, namely Darwin Cyril Noerhadi, Yozua Makes, and Haryanto Sahari.
"The sovereign wealth fund will focus on natural recources, infrastructure and green economy," Luhut explained.
