Jakarta: State-Owned Enterprises (SEO/BUMN) Minister Erick Thohir targets six million doses of vaccine in vaccination centers throughout Indonesia.

Erick also added that Islamic boarding schools are a priority for the covid-19 mass vaccination so that students are calm to carry out learning activities.
"I want all ulemas, preachers, teachers, and students to be protected, and learning at Islamic boarding schools can run more smoothly and safely," added Erick.
He also hopes that the Indonesian people can get through this covid-19 pandemic together.
"Patience, endeavor, and keep praying and trusting. God willing, we can get through this pandemic together," he stressed.
Previously, SOE Minister Erick Thohir appreciated BRI's efforts to accelerate herd immunity through a vaccination program for 3,000 students at the KHAS (Kyai Haji Aqiel Siroj) Islamic Boarding School Kempek Cirebon, West Java.
Erick conveyed that vaccination among students and administrators of Islamic boarding schools (Pondok Pesantren) was an effort to establish herd immunity in the field of education which gradually and limitedly started face-to-face learning. He emphasized that the government always strives to implement and intensify vaccinations nationally.
On the same occasion, BRI President Director Sunarso said that BRI is committed to continuing to take a role in supporting the government to accelerate vaccination programs in various regions in Indonesia so that herd immunity can be formed immediately, and people can return to normal activities.
