Jakarta: Bank Indonesia (BI) today announced its decision to once again hold the BI 7-Day Reverse Repo Rate at 3.50%.
It also decided to maintain the Deposit Facility (DF) rates at 2.75% and Lending Facility (LF) rates at 4.25%.
"The decision is consistent with the need to maintain exchange rate and financial system stability," BI Governor Perry Warjiyo told a press conference here on Thursday.
According to him, the central bank continues to optimise its policy mix towards maintaining macroeconomic and financial system stability.
"As well as supporting efforts to improve the national economy," he added.
Indonesia's central bank has maintained its key interest rate 6 times in a row since March 2021.
