medcom.id, Jakarta: PT Toyota Astra Motor (TAM) has predicted that Indonesian car market will grow 3-5 percent this year.
"We have prepared several measures," TAM General Manager Fransiscus Soerjopranoto said.
"We will have new products," he continued.
Meanwhile, PT Nissan Motor Indonesia (NMI) has predicted that national car market will only grow 2-3 percent this year.
"The Financial Sevices Authority has issued new regulations," NMI Vice President Director Davy Tuilan mentioned.
"Low cost green car (LCGC) sector will support sales," he added.
Previously, the Indonesian Automotive Industry Association (Gaikindo) has targeted domestic automotive sales to grow five percent to 1.1 million units.
