medcom.id, Jakarta: The Jakarta Interbank Spot Dollar Rate (JISDOR) depreciated to Rp13,438 per USD on Monday (11/21).
Bank Indonesia recorded JISDOR at Rp13,408 per USD on Friday (11/18) and Rp13,385 per USD on Thursday (11/17).
Meanwhile, Bloomberg showed the rupiah appreciated by 22 points or 0.16 percent to Rp13,406 per USD today.
Samuel Sekuritas Indonesia analyst Rangga Cipta said commodity prices and regional currency markets affect the recent weakening of rupiah.
"Bank Indonesia is expected to ease depreciation pressure," he said.
