medcom.id, Jakarta: Vice President Jusuf Kalla believes US President-elect Donald Trump will not apply strong protectionist measures.
"It is not that easy," Kalla said here on Tuesday, January 3, 2017.
Kalla mentioned Trump cannot suddenly strengthen tariff barriers. He explained that the move will increase prices.
"We should not be worried," Kalla stated.
Trump won the US presidential election last November. He promised protectionist measures during campaign.
