medcom.id, Jakarta: The Indonesian government has nominated National Development Planning Minister Bambang Brodjonegoro to become International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) president.
"President has approved the nomination," Cabinet Secretary Pramono Anung said in Jakarta on Friday.
The election will be held on February 14. It will be staged in Rome, Italy.
"We will wait the result," Pramono continued.
IFAD is a specialized agency of the United Nations (UN). It is dedicated to face rural poverty challenges in developing countries.
