medcom.id, Jakarta: The Indonesian government has announced its support for the re-election of the president of the World Bank Group Jim Yong Kim.
The Korean-American has led the international development agency since 2012. His first term will end next year.
Indonesian Finance Minister Sri Mulyani Indrawati said Kim always gives close attention to the developing countries.
"I appreciate the efforts of the World Bank Group to help its member countries," she said in a press release on Monday (8/29/2016).
Sri worked closely with Kim when she was the managing director at the agency. She held the position until July 2016.
