medcom.id, Jakarta: The Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) Ministry has ordered Pertamina to build pipeline in Kutai Kartanegara regency.
The ministry's oil and gas director general IGN Wiratmaja Puja said the pipeline will supply gas to Tanjung Batu power plant in the regency.
"We will build pipeline to Tanjung Batu power plant," said Wiratmaja in Jakarta on Tuesday (11/8).
He explained Pertamina will cooperate with PLN in the project. The local government will also support the project.
Tanjung Batu power plant will need around 40-80 MMSCFD. The power plant will receive gas from the nearest gas field.
