Kadin Meets With Malaysian Businesspeople

medcom.id, Jakarta: The Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin) and the Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (Matrade) conducted a business forum in Kuala Lumpur on Thursday (10/20).
 
Kadin chairman Rosan Perkasa Roeslani said they discussed about business opportunities between the two neighboring countries.
 
"Indonesia and Malaysia should explore more trade and investment opportunities," said Rosan in a written statement on Friday (10/21).

Kadin deputy chairman Shinta Widjaja Kamdani mentioned President Joko Widodo and Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Rajak have agreed to increase trade between the two countries to USD30 billion.
 
"We want to help the two governments to achieve the target," she stated.
 
The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) recorded trade between Indonesia and Malaysia reached USD16.15 billion in 2015.
