medcom.id, Jakarta: International Labour Organization (ILO) director general Gilbert Houngbo praised the quality of Indonesian migrant workers.
"Indonesian migrant workers are very good in terms of quality," mentioned Gilbert during Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Conference in Jakarta, Wednesday (2/17/2016).
Minister of Manpower Hanif Dhakiri admitted the quality of Indonesian migrant workers should be improved continuously through regular training.
"Country like Malaysia also appreciates our migrant workers," said Hanif.
Hanif hopes United Nations (UN) especially ILO could increase cooperation on manpower issues aligned with target to achieve SDGs in 2030.
