Meanwhile, Yahoo Finance showed Rupiah rose 216 points to Rp13,460/USD compared to its position in the opening at Rp13,676/USD.
Bank Indonesia recorded the currency at Rp13,538/USD.

Rupiah strengthened as US dollar is weakening against currencies from developing countries. The rise of rupiah is in contrary with Indonesian stock market that has been declining for several days.
