medcom.id, Jakarta: Rupiah strengthened against the United States (US) dollar on Friday (4/1/2016) afternoon.
Quoting Bloomberg, rupiah was Rp13,167/USD at 3.59 PM Western Indonesia Time, higher than its position in the opening at around Rp13,200/USD. The currency increased 72 points or 0.54 percent.
Meanwhile, Yahoo Finance showed rupiah at Rp13,140/USD at 5.39 PM Western Indonesia Time. It increased 25 points or 0.19 percent.
Jakarta Interbank Spot Dollar Rate (JISDOR) recorded rupiah at Rp13,200/USD.
