Govt Expects 15 Million Foreign Tourists This Year

medcom.id, Bandung: The Tourism Ministry has implemented various measures to attract more foreign tourist visits.
 
"We can attract 15 million foreign tourist visits untiil the end of the year," the Tourism Ministry internation promotion deputy I Gede Pitana said in Bandung, West Java on Friday, August 25, 2017.
 
"We will have better performance in the second semester," he said.

The government recorded 1.13 million foreign tourist visits in June 2017. The number increased by 31.6 pecent compared to the same period last year. 
 
The government recorded 6.48 million foreign tourist visits in June 2017. The number increased by 22.4 pecent compared to the same period last year. 
 
"We have created cross-border promotion programs. We have targeted neighboring countries," he said.
