Younger Generation Should be Creative in Running Economy

medcom.id, Semarang: Younger generation currently is faced with the global economic slowdown. However, they have to be creative in turning the economy cycle within their own regions.
 
The Head of Bank Indonesia Representative in Central Java, Iskandar Simorangkir stated that it is the time for the younger generation to step up in the middle of Indonesia's economic condition. 
 
"College students should be creative in turning the economy in Central Java. Creative as in selling something, to innovate even though they meet failures," urged Iskandar when speaking at BI and Media Indonesia Goes to Campus, in the Indoor Soccer Building of Diponegoro University Tembanglang, Diponegoro University Complex, Semarang, Central Java, Saturday (9/26/2015).

Meanwhile, the News Director of Media Indonesia, Usman Kansong, added that the business world is benefited from this condition, as within the hands of the younger generations, the business world will develop.
 
"We hope that with the current global crisis such as this, provided us with the lessons to be more prepared in facing similar conditions in the future," he added.
 
Therefore, Usman suggested all present students to have no fear in dreaming. "As dreams will make us better and always make better efforts," he continued.
 
On the other side, Rector of Diponegoro University, Prof. Yos Johan Utama mentioned that human resources is one of the most essential keys in facing the economic slowdown.
 
"Therefore, with the current condition as this, we have to be smart in turning the economy and be creative in creating businesses. Therefore, for the students here, we hope that you may be our future leaders," Yos stated.
 
For information, the event was also attended by the website owner of Bukalapak.com, Zaki, as moderated by Metro TV presenter, Prita Laura. The event was attended by hundreds of students from various universities in Central Java, as also entertained by comedians and jazz musicians.
