medcom.id, Jakarta: Rupiah failed to maintain its rise from the morning. It slightly weakened in the afternoon.
Quoting Bloomberg, Friday (1/15/2016) afternoon, rupiah was at Rp13,909/USD. Yahoo Finance showed rupiah at Rp13,930 while Jakarta Interbank Spot Dolar Rate recorded the currency at Rp13,886.
Meanwhile, Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) stays in the green zone in the weekend.
JCI on Friday (1/15/2016) afternoon slightly increased 10.8 points or 0.2 percent to 4,523. LQ45 rose 2.2 points to 784 and JII rose 0.52 point to 594.
Some sectors such as agriculture, finance, infrastructure, mining and property were in the red zone.
Transaction volume reached 2.3 billion shares worth Rp3.1 trillion. 133 stocks increased, 144 stocks decreased, 97 stocks unchanged.
