medcom.id, Jakarta: Ministry of Trade states the Reference Price of Crude Palm Oil (CPO) product for the Exit Fee of October 2015, as much as US$529.51 per Metric Ton (MT). The statement of BK declines to as much as US$81.14 or 13.29 percent compared to the previous month, which reached US$610.65/MT.
The statement is mentioned in the Minister of Trade Regulation No. 68/M-DAG/PER/09/2015 on the Statement of Export Reference Price (HPE) on the Farming and Forestry Products imposed Exit Fee.
"HPE and the Reference Price for October 2015 is stated after addressing the developments of commodity price, both national and international," mentioned Acting Director General of Foreign Trade, Karyanto Suprih, in his official statement, Jakarta, Wednesday (9/30/2015).
Moreover, Karyanto explained that the low CPO Reference Price currently is due to the declining international CPO price. Aside from that, the condition is also due to the low world oil price and the oversupply of vegetable oil to the international market.
Karyanto added, according to the Ministry of Finance Regulation No. 136 Year 2015, the ministry stated BK CPO for October 2015 at US$0/MT. It does not change from the BK statement in the previous month.
"The Reference Price of CPO currently is still below the limit of BK at the level of US$750, as it is still imposed BK of US$0/MT for the period of October 2015 for CPO and its subsidiary products," concluded Karyanto.
