BI Predicts Inflation to Reach 3.1-3.2% This Year

medcom.id, Jakarta: Bank Indonesia (BI) has predicted Indonesia's inflation will reach around 3.1-3.2 percent this year.
 
"Between 3.1-3.2 percent," BI's Economic and Monetary Policy Department executive director Juda Agung said in Jakarta on Thursday (10/6).
 
Juda mentioned Indonesia's inflation will not change drastically next year. BI will monitor electricity tariff hike at the beginning of 2017.

"The government will increase tariffs for 900 va customers," Juda stated.
 
Previously, the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) announced year-on-year inflation reached 3.07 percent last September.
