medcom.id, Jakarta: The House of Representatives Commission XI overseeing financial affairs has approved the macroeconomic assumptions in the 2018 state budget draft.
The economic growth target was agreed at 5.4 percent. Meanwhile, the annual inflation target was agreed at 3.5 percent.
The poverty rate target was agreed at 9.5-10 percent. On the other hand the unemployment rate was agreed at 5-5.3 percent.
"Some people think the economic growth target is optimistic. We believe it is feasible," said Finance Minister Sri Mulyani Indrawati at the Parliament Building Complex in Senayan, Central Jakarta on Monday, September 11, 2017.
The Human Development Index (HDI) target was set at 71.5. Moreover, the Gini coefficient target was set at 0.38.
