Inflation in Jakarta Reaches 0.25% in October

medcom.id, Jakarta: Bank Indonesia (BI) announced inflation in Jakarta reached 0.25 percent month-on-month in October 2016.
 
It was higher than the previous month at 0.18 percent. It was also above the national level this month at 0.14 percent.
 
"It was mainly influenced by administered prices such as electricity tariffs, fuel prices and train fares," said BI's Jakarta Branch head Doni Joewono in a written statement on Wednesday (11/2).

Meanwhile, inflation in Jakarta from January 2016 to October 2016 reached 1.85 percent. It was lower than the average of the last five years at 4.06 percent.
 
"It was below the national level at 2.11 percent," he stated.
