medcom.id, Jakarta: The Energy and Mineral Resources Ministry will issue guidelines for gas imports soon.
"We will issue the ministerial regulation in the near future," Energy and Mineral Resources Ministry oil and gas director general IGN Wiratmaja Puja said in Jakarta on Wednesday.
The ministry will prepare several requirements. It will consider local gas prices. It will also consider local gas infrastructures.
"We will prepare the criteria," he added.
The government has lowered gas prices for petrochemical, fertilizer and steel industries. It will lower gas prices for oleochemical, glass, ceramic and rubber industries.
