medcom.id, Jakarta: Vice President Jusuf Kalla has instructed related government agencies to accelerate three trade negotiations.
They are the Indonesia-Australia Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement, European Free Trade Association (EFTA) Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement, and Indonesia-Chile Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement.
"Vice president has asked for quicker process. He has also proposed the quicker mechanism," Trade Minister Enggartiasto Lukita said in Central Jakarta on Wednesday afternoon.
"All related agencies will gather the most impostant concerns. We will coordinate with the appointed negotiators," the Nasdem politician added.
The President Joko "Jokowi" Widodo administration currently is preparing 16 trade negotiations. The current administration is also reviewing a number of trade agreements.
