Indonesia's Inflation Rate Will Stay Below 0.5% in June: Govt

medcom.id, Jakarta: The government believes the country's inflation rate will reach below 0.5 percent this month.
 
"It will be around 0.4-0.5 percent," Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Darmin Nasution  was quoted by Media Indonesia as saying Wednesday.
 
The government successfully maintained food prices during Ramadan. It effectively controlled food supplies during the period.

The government will monitor dry season in the end of the year. It will protect harvest season in November-December.
 
"This year's inflation will be equally influenced by food, housing and administered prices," the former Bank Indonesia governor said.
