BI Maintains 7 Day Reverse Repo Rate at 4.75%

medcom.id, Jakarta: Bank Indonesia (BI) on Thursday maintained the BI 7 Day Reverse Repo Rate at 4.75 percent.
 
BI also maintained deposit facility rate at 4.00 percent and lending facility rate at 5.50 percent.
 
"BI will constantly seek to optimise its monetary, macroprudential and payment system policy mix in order to maintain macroeconomic and financial system stability," BI spokesman Tirta said.

"BI will also strengthen policy coordination with the Government focusing on controlling inflation within the target corridor as well as ongoing structural reforms," he continued.
 
Previously, the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) recorded that the country's inflation accelerated to 0.97 percent in January 2017 from 0.42 percent in December 2016.
