Husen Miftahudin • 27 May 2016 15:58
medcom.id, Jakarta: The Oil Palm Estate Fund (BPDP) launched online service for CPO supporting fund (CSF). The service is claimed to accelerate CPO exports.

According to the law, exporters need to pay levies when they want to export CPO or its derivatives. It is collected under CSF and managed by BPDP.

BPDP President Director Bayu Krisnamurthi mentioned that with the online service, administration process for CPO exports will be shortened to only half an hour.

"It will be more efficient. From one day into only half an hour," he said at the Ministry of Finance, Jakarta (5/26/2016).

He added that the system is more transparent as exporters can monitor the progress online. "They can also compare the data," he continued.

The online system will be effective on June 1, 2016. It will replace the current manual service gradually.

Before launched on Thursday, the service has passed trial. It will be effective on June 1, 2016 and will gradually replace the current manual services.

"There will be a transitional period for four months. After four months, the manual service will be fully closed except for special situations," he concluded.
