medcom.id, Jakarta: Minister of State-Owned Enterprises Rini Soemarno said the government is ready to turn Pertamina into holding company for state-owned energy firms.
Rini mentioned that state-owned gas company, PT Perusahaan Gas Negara (PGN), will be Pertamina's subsidiary. "PGN will be under Pertamina," she said, Jakarta, Wednesday (4/13/2016).
She added the government has not yet discussed the name for the holding company. "We have not yet talked about it. The name may change or not," she continued.
The plan has been approved by the Ministry of Finance. Rini will report the plan to the House of Representatives in the near future.
"Of course we will report it to the House. The process is still on going. The study has finished. We have submitted it to the Ministry of Finance," she stated.
