Govt to Maintain Food Prices

medcom.id, Jakarta: The government and the central bank will maintain food prices to control inflation movements.
 
"We will observe supplies," Bank Indonesia Governor Agus Martowardojo said here on Friday (20/1).
 
"Low supplies will increase prices," he mentioned.

The government has predicted that inflation will reach plus minus four percent this year. The government recorded that inflation reached 3.02 percent last year.
 
"We will conduct roundtable meetings," the former Finance Minister stated.
 
"Local governments will make reports. Ministries will give quick responses," he concluded.
