medcom.id, Jakarta: PT Pertamina (Persero) revealed the possibility of Saudi Aramco to Sell fuel in Indonesia.
Director of Pertamina Dwi Soetjipto admitted that talks have been conducted with Saudi Aramco as related to the plan. However, Dwi reminded that it should be according to the government's terms and conditions.
Meanwhile, Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) Sudirman Said stated that the government is open with the plan. He explained that several global companies has entered Indonesia's downstream sector such as Shell and Total.
Sudirman ensured Aramco could also enter as long as they agree the terms and conditions. "The downstream sector is open, there are Shell and Total," mentioned Sudirman, Jakarta, Monday (5/23/2016).
He added that with Saudi Aramco entering the downstream industry, it will make Pertamina more competitive. "The government is pleased to have competitive environment," he concluded.
