Eko Nordiansyah • 23 January 2017 18:26
medcom.id, Jakarta: Standard Chartered has predicted that the Indonesian economy will grow 5.3 percent this year.

Domestic sector will drive the economy. High commodity prices will also boost the economy.

"Domestic sector will still drive the economy," Standard Chartered Indonesia senior economist Aldian Taloputra said here on Monday.

"High commodity prices will support exports. They will also help government expenditures," he continued.

However, investment realization will be slow. Moreover, external demand will be limited.

"We will face many challenges," he stated.
